B.S. in International Studies

What are you currently doing?

I am currently working as an Orthopedic Surgeon.

Why did you choose your current profession/career path?

I enjoy the operating room, and being able to transform quality of life for people with orthopedic or musculoskeletal injuries

What is your favorite part about your career/program?

My favorite part of my profession is helping patients.

What advice would you give current pre-health students at Stetson?

Get the best grades and test scores you can, get involved in leadership, community service and research that you are passionate about

What degree did you earn at Stetson?

B.S. in Biology

What are you currently doing?

I am currently working in private practice at Ocala Eye, Ocala, FL, as an ophthalmologist where I specialize in refractive surgery, cornea, and external diseases. I earned my degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine and New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.

Why did you choose your current profession/career path?

My father was also an ophthalmologist but I was always interested in science

What is your favorite part about your career/program?

Being able to make a difference in people's lives

What advice would you give current pre-health students at Stetson?

Don't limit your areas of study even if you know you want to go into medicine.

What degree did you earn at Stetson?

B.S. in Biology

What are you currently doing?

I am currently a Dentist in Florida specializing in General Dentistry. I earned my degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

Why did you choose your current profession/career path?

I loved the environment and incorporating science, healthcare, and artistic ability into one.

What is your favorite part about your career/program?

The relationship with my patients and my team! They are family to me!

What advice would you give current pre-health students at Stetson?

Work really hard now, it pays off big!
