One of the Nina B. Hollis Institute for Educational Reform's focus areas is on providing training in literacy. The Institute defines literacy as language, writing, reading and mathematics, which meet the needs of a broad range of students. Through mini grants, professional development activities and statewide training programs, Stetson University faculty partner with school district faculty to provide workshops that showcase research-based approaches to literacy.
