Stetson University admits adult learners who are determined to finish their bachelor's degree.
- Be at least 25 years of age or have work/life experience commensurate to 3 years.
- Have completed either an A.A. or approximately 60 college credit hours before matriculation*.
- If a prospective student qualifies for Employee Reimbursement Program, they must disclose how tuition will be covered (All students are required to sign a promissory note prior to the start of the first class).
- Attend orientation prior to the start of the first class.
- WES evaluation and TOEFL/IELTS scores are required for students educated outside of the U.S.
- Providing a Health History to Stetson Health Service is strongly encouraged.
Apply for Admission
As a part of the application, you will be required to submit the following:
Your resume should include your educational and work histories, leadership experience, awards received and professional activities and organizations in which you have participated.
2. Personal Statement
Your personal statement should be approximately 2-3 pages in length. Please describe what you have been doing since you were last a college student. Also, include why you believe admission to this program would help you realize your goals.
3. Application Fee
A $50 non-refundable fee must accompany your application for admission. Checks should be made payable to Stetson University. The fee may also be paid online through the program application.
Required Supporting Materials
In addition to the items submitted with the general application, the following required supporting materials must be received by the Division of Enrollment Management before an admission decision can be rendered. All supporting materials should be uploaded with the application, emailed to your assigned admissions counselor or mailed to the following address:

Unofficial transcript(s) will be accepted for initial review. These can be emailed by the applicant to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your name as it appears on your application and the term to which you are applying in the submission email. This enables your transcripts to be directed to the proper admissions application.
Official transcript(s) are required for final acceptance. You must provide transcripts from all colleges and universities attended.
Letters of Recommendation
Applicants to the Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership are required to submit two letters of recommendation.
Letters of recommendation are processed as part of the general application. During the application process, you will be asked to provide the name and contact information for the individuals providing your recommendations. The system will then send an automated email to those individuals, prompting them to login at the link provided. They will then have the opportunity to fill out the rating sheet and submit a letter of recommendation.
One recommendation must be from an employer/supervisor who is capable of evaluating your present professional abilities as related to the research focus area of the cohort to which you would like to be admitted.
