Network and File Server Changes – Scheduled Service Maintenance

WHAT IS HAPPENING?

In order to keep our network and systems updated and secure, we will be performing updates on the DeLand routers and add more storage space to our S: drive on Thursday, May 17, at 9 p.m.

The downtime has the following goals:

  • Update edge network routing and network switch operations.
  • Add 300GB more storage space to our S: drive.

WHAT IS AFFECTED BY THIS INTERRUPTION?

  • During this time, access to the internet from on campus and access to Stetson resources, such as VLAB, will be intermittently unavailable between 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Also, access to the S:, P:, and G: drives will be unavailable. Please save all files when you leave work on Thursday evening.

WHEN IS IT HAPPENING?

Thursday, May 179 p.m. – 10 p.m.     

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO WHEN THE SYSTEM IS AVAILABLE AGAIN?

No action is needed on your behalf after the services are back online.
