Hari will focus on how he developed a trace-ability index for identifying food ingredients, which is a mathematical model to help people determine how far they are removed from the food source they are using. Shawnrece will focus on food as medicine, as a cultural building block, and as a soothing remedy for homesickness.
The event will conclude with an interactive discussion with the audience, moving back and forth between talking points that connect their research.
