Free Safety Course for Bicyclists on Thursday!

Do you ride your bicycle on campus or around DeLand?  Or are you thinking about it?  Then you need to come to Cycling Savvy this Thursday from 6PM-9PM in Sage 257!  Cycling Savvy is the best bicycle safety course available for bicyclists.  On Thursday we will have the first section which will teach you all about traffic dynamics, safe riding, lane control, and many other techniques that will make your rides safer and more enjoyable.  These techniques can save your life.

Stetson Cycles supports safe cycling.  If you need help with your bicycle please visit our bike shop. The Stetson Cycles shop is located in a large gray garage across the street from the Rinker Environmental Learning Center and behind the new Grants Office. A map is available at the Stetson Cycles Facebook Page.

Stetson Cycles wants to remind students, faculty, and staff to register their bicycles with Public Safety and to always lock your bicycle. The Stetson Cycles shop is open Fridays from 9 a.m.-12 noon to provide basic repair service for bicyclists, provide free bicycling safety information, and to help answer bicyclists’ questions. We can also be contacted at stetsoncycles@gmail.com.
