Creative Writing: Poetry

This immersive workshop lets students explore and create poems created for online readership (such as Instagram, Twitter, etc.) and spoken word poems for video (YouTube, Button Poetry, etc.). This is a fully online workshop, and will generate new works for the participants.

About the Instructor 

Michele Parker Randall has a background in Creative Writing & Interdisciplinary Studies, but her main focus and scholarship is in Poetry. She is the author of Museum of Everyday Life (Kelsay Books 2015) and A Future Unmappable, chapbook, (Finishing Line Press 2021) and her work has been published nationally and internationally. Outside of Stetson she helps run a community writing group in the city of Sanford, has taught poetry for a NAMI peer group, and is certified in mental health first aid for youth.
