Assistant Vice President of University Marketing
Joel leads the university's branding and marketing efforts, where he is dedicated to enhancing the university's national reputation through strategic communications. He facilitates a collaborative marketing approach, with internal clients and external agencies in defining and realizing marketing goals that drive return on investment. This includes leading the university's creative services team of designers, writers, web developers and social media experts in the execution of the university brand across all media channels. Under his leadership, Stetson University Marketing has won many awards including several CASE Grand Awards for best in class marketing and creative work.
Joel holds an undergraduate degree in communications from the Art Institute and a professional graduate certificate in strategic management from Harvard Extension School. He started his Stetson career in 2010 as the Director of Creative Services, is actively involved with the American Red Cross as a disaster services worker and volunteers with HOPE Worldwide.
