As a successful entrepreneur, Glenn Henderson and the companies he created have received recognition for exceptional commitment to best practice principles and superior customer service. Henderson is the former CEO of AFC Worldwide - a transportation and logistics company that he founded and later sold in 2009. As a first responder, AFC Worldwide was instrumental and deeply engaged in the relief efforts of the 911 tragedy. Through his vision and leadership, the company grew and was recognized nationally as being the best in the business over its more than 20-year history.
Henderson is also founder/CEO of Business Accelerators - a company accelerator and incubator aimed towards small to mid-size, non-profit and startup companies. Additionally, he is founder/CEO of AFCLS - a global logistics and transportation company, and co-founder of Upscale Personal Care Home - an assisted living facility (ALF).
In addition to his leadership in many businesses as a serial entrepreneur, Henderson is the author of Rock Solid Principles of Business Development and Treasures of Darkness, and has served on many occasions as a guest speaker on financial principles, debt-free living, and entrepreneurship. He received the Jacksonville Business Journal's Diversity Award in 2014. And, for excellent customer service, his company was selected “Vendor of the Year” by Hallmark Cards for three consecutive years.
Henderson serves, or has recently served, on the boards of Crown Financial Ministries, Cherokee Boys and Girls Club, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC), and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
He is married to Regina Henderson, his best friend and advisor of 30 years. They live in Jacksonville, Florida and have three children, Valerie, Cameron, and Allegra '17. Henderson was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2015.
