Services Offered for students in isolation

For Students in Isolation due to COVID- 19, let us know and we can be sure you’re your sessions are conducted via teletherapy until you are cleared from isolation.

If you were using the Hatter Pantry prior to isolation and do not have enough food to sustain you, let us know and we can coordinate drop-off of food items through our Campus Life on-call team or a friend.

For after-hours use of the Hatter Pantry, please contact Public Safety at (386) 822-7300 to have someone provide access.

To schedule an appointment or coordinate food drop-off while in isolation, please call (386) 822-8900 or email [email protected] during office hours: Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed daily from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch).

In order to minimize the spread of COVID-19, if you are in isolation and already have an appointment scheduled for the time in which you will be in isolation, let us know and we can reschedule your appointment or convert it to a teletherapy session.

All teletherapy appointments will be offered via Microsoft Teams.

If you are experiencing an immediate mental health crisis, call 386-822-8740 to be connected to the Volusia County Crisis Response Team.

  • For all other mental health needs, select option 7.

All students residing in the state of Florida are able to access our full array of services via teletherapy.

International and Out of State Students
International students residing in Florida are able to access our full array of services.

Students residing internationally and in other states of the United States can access crisis services.

Who provides the After-hours Crisis Support?

Stetson University's Student Counseling Services is partnering with the Volusia County Crisis Response Team to provides 24/7 crisis support to students. When utilizing the after-hours support, students are able to receive support at any time from any locationby calling 386-822-8740.

  • If you having thoughts of harming yourself or others, select option 1.
  • For all other mental health needs, select option 7.

The Hatters Helping Hatters Food Pantry is a confidential and free emergency service. It is located in the Student Counseling Services office at Griffith Hall and can be accessed at any time during office hours:
Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (closed daily from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch)
Saturday and Sunday: Closed

If you would prefer not to engage in teletherapy or will be out of the state of Florida for the duration of the semester, you may want to seek a therapist in your area who can provide ongoing services.

Shopping for a therapist can depend on your needs and preferences.
