Calling for a Worthy Cause

The Stetson University Phonathon is comprised of current students responsible for reaching out to alumni, parents and friends. Student callers foster relationships, offer updates on campus events and news, and raise monetary support for the Stetson Fund as well as other funds, programs, athletic teams, or departments.

Calls made by student phonathon callers from Stetson University will be identifiable by the following:

  • The call will be from the Stetson University Student Phonathon telephone number, 386-822-7456.
  • Calls are only made Monday through Thursday from 6:00pm - 8:30pm, and Sunday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm. Some follow up calls are made during normal business hours, but only at the request of the person being called. If you did not request a daytime callback, we will not call you during the day.
  • The student caller will be able to provide you with specific information on your last gift to Stetson, your class year, or the nature of your relationship to the university.

If you receive calls that are not from the Stetson University Student Phonathon telephone number, do not fall with the above time frames, or the caller cannot provide specific details, the call is not from Stetson University. If you are unsure if the person calling is from Stetson, do not give out your credit card information over the phone.
