Assistant Vice President for Development
Kate’s career at Stetson began in 1990 as the assistant director of development services. She has held increasingly responsible positions over the years, including director of research, director of gift planning, and director of annual giving and gift planning. In 2013, Kate was promoted to assistant vice president for development. A member of the division’s leadership team, her responsibilities include supervision of the Office of Gift Planning that includes the university’s charitable estate planning outreach, ongoing stewardship of all Stetson Society members, and the in-house administration of estate gifts. She is also responsible for the supervision of five major gift officers and is involved with the university’s volunteer boards.
Kate graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Madison with a degree in communications and worked for 10 years as a travel agent before joining the staff at Stetson.
