Update on Beyond Success - Significance Comprehensive Campaign


April 2018

On April 9, Stetson University announced the receipt of an $18 million gift - the single largest gift in its history - for science and health education from trustees and longtime supporters Hyatt 'Hon. 92 and Cici 'Hon. 07 Brown.

Since the launch of Stetson's "Beyond Success - Significance" comprehensive campaign, gifts, pledges and new estate commitments received have totaled approximately $190 million toward an overall goal of $200 million. Stetson has raised $70 million for students and scholarships; another $26 million toward academic support and faculty research and development; $6 million for general operating purposes; $50 million in new estate commitments; and now nearly $38 million toward new facilities including this new expansion of science and health, the Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center currently under construction, the Marshall and Vera Lee Rinker Welcome Center, and the ongoing modernization and expansion of the Carlton Union Building student center, which has a January 2019 completion date.
