Rowing Service for visiting teams
Welcome to Stetson University's Concierge Services for Visiting Rowing Teams. Stetson University is proud to house our crew rowing facility on one of the best rowing sites in the country. The Sandra Stetson Aquatic Center is located on 10 acres of Stetson University property on Lake Beresford in DeLand, Florida. The 10,000 square foot facility opened in January 2019 and provides a permanent home for Stetson’s intercollegiate rowing teams, along with areas for water study/research and non-motorized public recreation access to the lake.
Lake Beresford connects with the St. Johns River and provides an ideal training area for rowing teams from around the world. For men’s and women’s rowing, there is storage for dozens of boats on the first floor, as well as training equipment. In addition to rowing competitions, the center serves as a winter training site for high school and college rowing teams.
Stetson University's Office of Continuing Education and Outreach is pleased to be your one-stop-shop to make your upcoming crew rowing trip a productive experience that your team won't forget. Services may include but is not limited to:
