Why Personal Training?
Great News! The Department of Labor states there is a 29% shortage of health and fitness professionals. Stetson University has an upcoming class to train people in this exciting and rewarding career.
This course will give you the knowledge, practice and experience that you need in order to be successful in this growing industry. The fitness profession offers flexible hours, full and part-time careers and supplemental income. It is a career that will make you smile every time you clock in!
This course is facilitated by of World Instructor Training Schools (W.I.T.S.) which has testing locations at colleges and universities all over the country. Since 1993, W.I.T.S. has aimed to set a new more credible standard for certification.
Rather than the fitness industry's traditional problematic home study and weekend crash certifications, W.I.T.S. uses live, hands on training over the course of several weeks to give students the time for practice and learning. This NCCA accredited course gives students the information and resources they need to prepare for a career in personal training.
