Stetson University has a content management system that is run through University Marketing. As a member of the Stetson community, you may be granted access to your office or department's website through our back-end software management system, known as WebGarage, where you are able to edit, update, and revise the content the webpages related to your position or office.
University Marketing's web editor responds to all edit submissions throughout the website, and thus creates a great line of communication with each office and department on campus. While the web editor does not create content or update webpages, the web editor will either approve your revised content or will send you suggested edits. All edits should ideally be submitted by 3:00 p.m. each day, as all submissions will be responded to by the end of the workday at 4:30 p.m. If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact our web editor, Jordan Foley, at email@example.com.
To gain access for a website in WebGarage, University Marketing provides training of multiple levels. The basics will require you to attend a training session lasting no more than an hour and a half. If there is someone within your office who is well-versed in WebGarage, they can train you as long as they vouch that you have been trained to our web editor. To attend a training session in WebGarage, please fill out the WebGarage Training Request Form. Training sessions are typically held on the first Thursday of every month.
