The John B. Stetson Family Legacy

John B. Stetson, an entrepreneur and industrialist known for his Stetson hats, was instrumental in the early development of Stetson University. Susan Ryan, Dean of Stetson’s duPont-Ball Library, curates the largest known collection of John B. Stetson family and company memorabilia. During Ryan’s 30 years at Stetson University, she has researched the Stetson family extensively, with particular attention to the family's philanthropy. She will share the story of John B. Stetson, his wife Elizabeth, and their two sons and the family’s influence on the University and DeLand. Watch Now!

Greenfeather - Stetson's Longest Running Tradition

Do you remember participating in Greenfeather as a student? Penny Wars, Rock-A-Thon, Day of Service, Airwaves, Chalk Art, and more! It's certainly changed over the years, so come hear how Greenfeather has been helping DeLand's local community for the past 50 plus years and learn more about this year's Greenfeather Grant Recipients - Hispanic Health Initiatives (HHI) and Community Education Project (CEP). Stetson University Athletics Update
