Victoria Webster-Perez joined the Stetson family in May 2019. With her BFA in Creative Writing and her MLS in Western Culture and Civilization, Victoria spent more than eight years actively working in the television and film industries as a writer, producer and editor. Her credits include nationally-syndicated shows such as The Daily Buzz and The Jet Set, and journalistic publications in Huffington Post, Emerge Literal Journal, The Journal of Microliterature and 101words. In 2014, Victoria was nominated for a Pushcart for her narrative poem “Some Days.” She had two of her short films in festivals between 2012 and 2015 with her thriller, Haggling, winning an award at the Central Florida Film Festival in 2015. Victoria brings a lot of industry experience to the table and she's excited to share this with her prospective students and families.
“Joining Stetson is the perfect marriage of my two passions: serving others and using my creative background to positively influence my community. Working with prospective students allows me to share real-world insight into the value of liberal education [in every industry!] and how they can use their experience at Stetson to propel their professional development. I get just as excited as my students about their potential success, and I'm eager to share my personal experiences and recommendations to ensure every student meets their potential.”
