Makayla Mitchell graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Stetson University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies, a minor in Sustainable Food Systems, and a concentration in Environmental Economics and Policy. During her time as an undergraduate student, Makayla was named one of the 2019 Outstanding Seniors for the Environmental Science and Studies Department, and in 2016 she won the R. Neil Scott Research Prize. Makayla returned to Stetson in August 2019 to work as an Admissions Recruiter for Incoming Freshmen before accepting her current position as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions for Business Programs. Additionally, she is on her way to becoming a “Double Hatter” by being enrolled in Stetson University’s Master of Business Administration Program.
