RISU, 30 May 2022
On 27 May 2022, the delegation of the UPTsMP diocese of Feodosiya, led by Metropolitan of Feodosiya and Kerch Platon, participated remotely in the assembly of bishops, clergy, monastics, and believers of the UPTsMP (Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate), which was held in Kiev. Metropolitan Platon reported to the assembly that the clerics of the diocese of Feodosiya "confirm their fidelity to the patriarchal church." This was reported by Nevilnyi Krim.
The membership of the delegation from the diocese of Feodosiya included: Bishop of Koktebel Agafon, vicar of Feodosiya; Archpriest Ioann Kopylov, secretary of the diocese; Hegumenia Feodosiya of the St. George's convent in Kartelyes; and Tatiana Alenina, diocesan staff member.
The delegation of the Feodosiya diocese unanimously voted against adopting the resolution of the assembly and the proposed amendments to the charter of the administration of the UPTsMP, and it declared that the diocese "remains under the omophorion of His Holiness Patriarch of Moscow and all-Rus."
