To be great, a song must exhibit
Many of these songs are lesser known, coming to me through my time in Nashville, friends, and chance. Listen to the first for some really fine lyrics paying tribute to the art of song writing. Short of live music, the best source today is satellite. On XMRadio, there is a wealth of material and programming for all musical tastes. I like channels 50 (The Loft), 45 (XM Cafe), 15 (The Village), 14 (Bluegrass Junction), and 12 (X Country). But there is still some good music on FM. Look for programs such as E-Town , Acoustic Cafe , Midnight Special , and Mountain Stage . To add to your own list of great songs, I suggest following the song writers, not the artists.
