Langdon Gilkey is the author
of a number of books, most recently "Nature, Reality, and the Scared:
The Nexus of Science and Religion." He is a Visiting Professor in
Religious Studies at the University of Virginia and a Visiting Professor
in Theology at Georgetown University.

bestsellers: The Historical Jesus (1991), Jesus: A Revolutionary
Biography (1994), and Who Killed Jesus (1995). A former co-chair
of the Jesus Seminar, he is chair of the Historical Jesus Section of the
Society of Biblical Literature, an international scholarly association for
biblical study based in the United States. |

| Daniel
C. Maguire teaches ethics at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He is also
President of the Religious Consultation on Population, Reproductive Health
and Ethics. He is the author of many books, including Death by Choice(1974)
and The Moral Core of Judaism and Christianity(1993). |
Jurgen
Moltmann believes that what we all know of Christian ethics is individual
ethics on the one hand and social and political ethics on the other hand.
But a third dimension is more and more important. This is environmental
ethics. He believes that we must take into our responsibility not only our
personal life, our social life, but also the life of nature around us. |
