Religion and Ethics at the End of Life |
Jurgen Moltman February 7, 1990 Ecology, Religion and Culture |
|||
| Daniel C. Maguire teaches ethics at Marquette University in Milwaukee. He is also President of the Religious Consultation on Population, Reproductive Health and Ethics. He is the author of many books, including Death by Choice(1974) and The Moral Core of Judaism and Christianity(1993). | Jurgen Moltmann believes that what we all know of Christian ethics is individual ethics on the one hand and social and political ethics on the other hand. But a third dimension is more and more important. This is environmental ethics. He believes that we must take into our responsibility not only our personal life, our social life, but also the life of nature around us. | |||
