The informational interviews for my final paper relate to the field of marketing, which I hope to enter upon graduation. The purpose of these interviews is to develop a better understanding of three different areas of marketing that are of interest to me. These areas include research analysis, research training, and marketing research for financial services

My interviewee for research analysis is Dr. Gary Tyson, a clinical psychologist is private practice in DeLand. He provides life and career planning services under the auspices of The Highlands Program. I chose Dr. Tyson because he does his own research analysis so he can better market his services, and in customer-service companies, the typical entry-level position is research analyst.

For the research training area I chose to interview Tracy Potter, a research trainee for the Daytona Beach News Journal. I chose Tracy because the typical entry-level position among research providers is research trainee.

Finally, my interviewee for marketing research of financial services is Patty Hayden, a marketing research representative of Barnett Bank in DeLand. I chose Patty because marketing research has various job opportunities at the entry level. I plan to conduct this interview in person.

This paper will summarize my findings through these interviews, compare and contrast those findings, and finally, analyze those similarities and differences in job description.
