About Dr. Mallett
Professor Jim Mallett has been teaching in the Finance
Department at Stetson University
since 1984. He also serves as the director of the Roland and Sarah George
Investments Institute in the School of Business Administration. The George
Investments Institute houses the Roland
George Investments Program. This program enables students to manage
a $2.5 million portfolio of stocks and bonds. Professor Mallett completed
his Ph.D. in Economics at Wayne State University.
At Stetson University, Prof. Mallett teaches personal finance, investments,
money and banking, and international finance. Professor Mallett resides
in DeLeon Springs with his wife, Dora; daughter, Becky; and son, Josh.
