	Russian Service - Russian version of the RFE/RL web site for Russia.
	RFE/RL: Russian Service RealAudio - The Russian Service broadcasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and all of it is made available LIVE! via RealAudio as a service to native language speakers in their country of origin or abroad. RFE/RL does not broadcast English-language content.
	Face of Russia - PBS online website for the 3-part documentary on Russia

  Area studies

Karelian Research Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences (KRC RAS) - Karelian Research Centre of Russian Academy of Sciences,  can be read in English, Russian, or Finnish.

	The Association for the Study of Nationalities - The Association for the Study of Nationalities (ASN) is composed of scholars, researchers, policy makers and administrators interested in nationalities problems and issues of ethnic conflict, with a focus on the former Soviet Union and the countries of Eastern Europe.
	Central Asian Studies World Wide - a global perspective on Central Asia studies, a key point of access to highly dispersed resources in this field, encompassing all fields of the social sciences and humanities wherever in the world people engage in such study.

Focus Central Asia enjoys a network of correspondents reporting from all of the Central Asian States. It is published twice a month, covering economics, business, finance, legislation and defence matters in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
