TAG Day Event: Snap Photos to Win

Want to learn more about philanthropy at Stetson? Better yet, students, want to win money? If so, mark Tuesday, March 21, on your calendar, write “TAG Day” and underline 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

As part of the philanthropic mission of Stetson’s student organization Green White & YOU, March 21 is TAG Day on the main campus in DeLand, Florida. TAG as in Teaching About Giving.

By using “price tags” and other visuals, TAG Day represents an interactive opportunity to illustrate the impact of private giving at Stetson. Large green “price tags” will be placed in front of areas/buildings/programs that have been enhanced by donor giving.

Students can win, too, by participating in the effort. Two Visa gift cards are up for grabs. Here’s how students can win:

  1. Follow Snapchat @StetsonUniv
  2. Watch for eight specific tags to be snapped out
  3. The first two people to locate, snap and send the eight specific tags win.

In other words, locate the tags throughout campus; take a photo of you and the located tag and write a caption about how the tag’s description has impacted you; then direct-message your photo @StetsonUniv. Note: You only need to send in one photo of each of the eight specific tags (because there will be multiples of those tags throughout campus – providing a better chance at winning).

Here’s a tip, students: Tags will be displayed in various academic buildings, such as Presser Hall, the Lynn Business Center, Elizabeth Hall, the CUB, duPont-Ball Library and the Edmunds Center, among other locales.

For more information about TAG Day and giveaways, visit the Green, White & YOU table on March 21 at the following locations: in front of the CUB (10 a.m.-2 p.m.); Sage Hall lobby (10 a.m.-noon); lobby of the Lynn Business Center (10 a.m.-noon).
