Jason Evans, Ph.D., assistant professor of environmental science and studies, was quoted in the article, “UGA research will help policymakers plan for sea level rise,” published on Environmental Research Web on Mar. 24.

In addition, Evans was quoted in another article, “Climate Disruption in Overdrive: Submerged Cities and Melting that ‘Feeds on Itself,’” posted on Mar. 28 on Truthout and other news media outlets.

Evans was quoted on Mar. 29 in Discovery News, “There’s Hope for U.S. Coastlines Even as Seas Rise.”

On Mar. 31, Evans was quoted in the article, “Sea rise study yields benefits,” in Insurance News Net Online, and The Brunswick News Online.

Christopher Ferguson, Ph.D., co-chair of Stetson’s Department of Psychology, published an article titled “The Reduction of Ego-Depletion” in Huffington Post on Mar. 29.

On Mar. 24, K.C. Ma, Ph.D., professor of finance, director of Roland George Investments Program, was quoted in the article, “As iPhone Sales Slow, Apple Hangs On to its Mojo (AAPL),” as reported in MSN Money, Yahoo! Finance, U.S. News & World Report, and four other news outlets.

According to the March 24 Jewish Press, Law Associate Dean Michael Allen is among “4 educators offer presentations at Sunday Morning University” at Temple Bethel. Allen is presenting on “The Constitution: How we Got It and How We figure Out What it Means.”

Stetson’s VITA program was featured in an article, “Stetson Volunteers help get $1 million in tax refunds, in Accounting Today and the Beacon Online News on Mar. 23.

Clay Henderson, executive director of the Stetson University Institute for Water and Environmental Resilience, was quoted in the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Mar. 31, in the article, “Marvels of St. Johns River come alive during tour aimed at protecting it,” and also in the Mar. 27 article, “Travelogue: Save the St. Johns River Day 5,” in Florida NewsLine.

“Best-selling author of ‘God’s Politics’ to speak at Stetson,” in Mar. 27 Daytona Beach News-Journal, is about Jim Wallis’ upcoming lecture at Stetson, Apr. 8.

On March 29, the following news ran in multiple national media outlets: Stetson University College of Law’s Vis International Arbitration Moot team won multiple awards at the 23rd Annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, March 18-24.

“Ex-Senate leader could redefine race,” about Mike Haridopolos, former Florida Senate President and Stetson alumnus, is reported in Press Journal, Mar. 27.

The Gulfport Gabber ran the community news that Stetson law students are helping volunteer their time for the annual “Fun in the Sun” city event.

On Mar. 27, Stetson graduate Jesse Christeson, cellist, was featured in an article published in The Meridian Star.
