On Feb. 1, The Lawyer Herald and The Tampa Bay Times quoted Law Professor Charles Rose in an article titled “Jameis Winston’s accuser, Florida State U reach settlement: A separate case could continue until 2018.” On Feb. 1, MyInforms and the Tampa Tribune quoted Professor Rose in an article titled “Petraeus case: After 5 years, bad decisions still resonate.”

Paul J. Croce, Ph.D., professor of History and Chair of American Studies, wrote an article titled “There’s a Way to Lower the Incidence of ADHD. We Should Try It,” published in the History News Network on Jan. 31.

On Jan. 28, The Tampa Bay Times quoted Law Professor Theresa Pulley Radwan in an article titled “Troubled Mosley Motel stops foreclosure sale by filing for bankruptcy.”

On Jan. 27, Legal Newsline quoted Law Professor Timothy Kaye in an article titled “Law prof says plaintiffs in Char-Broil grill class action could have tough road ahead.”

On Feb. 2, Tim Hurst, an analyst with the Roland George Investments Program at Stetson University, was quoted in an article posted on Yahoo! Finance, U.S. News & World Report, and seven other news outlets on Alphabet’s success in the stock market.

Stetson’s Poverty and Homelessness Conference (PHC), headed by Rajni Shankar-Brown, Ph.D., associate professor and chair, Social Justice Education, received national attention raising awareness of poverty and homelessness as critical justice issues in this Jan. 12 article, reprinted in the Feb. 5 issue of Equal Voice.

The Feb. 3 San Francisco Gate and other outlets reported on Stetson’s moot court team winning a best oralist award.

Carl Vollrath, a graduate from Stetson University, was featured in an article on The Troy Messenger on Jan. 30.
