Club ‘Strongly’ Opposes Membership Changes.”
• On Nov. 14, The Tampa Tribune quoted Law Professor Charles Rose in the article, “Lawyers in hit-and-run deaths use an array of defense tactics.” On Nov. 12, Morningstar Online quoted Professor Charles Rose in the article, “These parents are fighting to give pot to their kids.”
• Professor Charles Rose spoke with the Associated Press yesterday for a story that ran nationally Nov. 19: “Kentucky refugee case highlights worries over Syrians in the U.S.” The story ran in ABC, Yahoo!, and other outlets around the country.

• Mac R. McCoy BAMCL ’98, JD ’01, a shareholder with Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, was appointed a U.S. magistrate judge for the Fort Myers Division of the Middle District of Florida this summer. His investiture was Nov. 13.

• On Nov.15, The Daily Herald reported that Law alumna Julia McGrathhas been named one of the Top 40 Under 40 lawyers in the state of Florida by the National Trial Lawyers, and organization comprised of the top trial lawyers from around the country.
• On Nov. 16, The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that Law alumnus Tom Leek has been appointed to the University of Central Florida’s Value Commission, which is helping to plan the university’s future.
