  • Mac R. McCoy BAMCL ’98, JD ’01, a shareholder with Carlton Fields Jorden Burt, was appointed a U.S. magistrate judge for the Fort Myers Division of the Middle District of Florida this summer. His investiture was Nov. 13.

  • On Nov.15, The Daily Herald reported that Law alumna Julia McGrathhas been named one of the Top 40 Under 40 lawyers in the state of Florida by the National Trial Lawyers, and organization comprised of the top trial lawyers from around the country.
  • On Nov. 16, The Daytona Beach News-Journal reported that Law alumnus Tom Leek has been appointed to the University of Central Florida’s Value Commission, which is helping to plan the university’s future.
