  • Thirteen Stetson students were named to the 2014-15 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Academic Honor Roll, which requires athletes to hold at least a 3.2 GPA, reported Quinnipiac Bobcats on July 16.

  • Maureen Breakiron-Evans has been appointed to the board of directors for Ally Financial Inc., an automotive financial services company. The story appeared in The Business Journals, Market Place, Fox 23, and 130 other news media on July 23.

  • Michael T. Ezzell II has joined Inland Securities Corporation as the CEO and will be responsible for corporate strategy, sales, broker dealer relationships, securities operations, compliance and distribution channels, and also work closely with new product development, due diligence and information technology.   • Cecelia McKinney got her early childhood certification and went on to teach children for 34 years. She is regarded as many children’s favorite teacher and, although retired, McKinney still gets involved with her community. The Daytona Beach News-Journal wrote a feature about her career on July 17.
