The feature, “Research shows Public Opinion really does change with the weather,” highlighting the research of Assistant Professor of Environmental Science Jason M. Evans, ran on June 4, in countless news media outlets, including: Tampa Bay Business Journal, South Florida Business Journal, Investorpoint.com, Daily Herald, SYS-CON BRASIL, and many television and radio outlets.

The feature “Stetson University researcher shows fiction reflects reality,” featuring the research of Assistant Psychology Professor Laura Crysel, ran on June 3, in many news media outlets, including: Tampa Bay Business Journal, Orlando Business Journal, Jacksonville Business Journal, KFDA-TV, WOLF-TV, WPFO, WFXG.

News of Professor Luz Nagle teaching in Colombia ran in multiple news outlets, including BizWireExpress.com, and many other online, broadcast and print media outlets.

On June 9 and 10, many news media outlets including The Daytona Beach News-Journal , Mets, The News Virginian and ESPN and others reported that Stetson’s own Patrick Mazeika was taken in the eighth round of  the MLB draft.

The June 9 IIT Today reports that “Judge David Erickson receives Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Teaching Advocacy” from Stetson University.

The June 4 Champion Magazine ran the news that Hank Asbill has been named this year’s White Collar Criminal Defense Award recipient by NACDL, Stetson.

On June 9, US Official News reported that among the top priorities of incoming president of Florida City and County Management Association (FCCMA), alum Michael Pleus, City Manager, City of DeLand, lists his commitment to supporting the new Public Management Degree program starting this fall at Stetson, under Dr. Wayne Bailey’s leadership.

The June 9 Press Connects reports that former Broome County Family Court Judge and Acting New York State Supreme Court Justice Peter P. Charnetsky has joined the law firm Tully Rinckey PLLC’s Binghamton.
