Stetson’s Club Equestrian stole the show!

Martha Hunsucker[1] copyStetson’s Sport Programs is extremely proud of Club Equestrian’s recent success at the Savannah College of Art and Design’s (SCAD) Two-Day Show.

The beauty of the SCAD facilities, coupled with the beauty of horses in motion and the unspoken communication between rider and mount, made for a truly memorable day.

Equestrian is an art form and the style our Stetson students showed stole the show; Martha Hunsucker (pictured), Sarah Hoffman and Carly Batts qualified for Regionals!

In addition, we are also proud of Brooke Hutson and Sarah Hoffman for winning their class. There was nothing easy in their competition as they competed against Division-1 teams and prominent universities around the region.  Their captain Maeve McNew has shown superior organization skills and has been an integral part of their success. Maeve provides inspiration and positive mentoring to the riders along with helping teammates set goals and achieve them.

There are so many great assets involved in Club Equestrian and their journey ahead is something Stetson University will be proud of.
