Senior Recital showcases vocalist Rachel LaQuea

RachelLaQueaStetson vocalist Rachel LaQuea will be showcasing her talent at her senior recital on Sunday, April 27, at 4:15 p.m. in Lee Chapel, Elizabeth Hall, 421 N. Woodland B lvd., DeLand. The public is invited at no charge.

A psychology major with a minor in music and Spanish, LaQuea will perform nine classically historical vocal pieces, including music by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Franz Joseph Haydn, and Henry Purcell. LaQuea will be accompanied by Terry Tichenor, piano.

Originally from Orlando, Fla., LaQuea has been on the Dean’s List in both spring and fall semesters of 2013. She is a student of Stetson music voice instructor Mollie Rich.

All students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend and support School of Music seniors as they perform their final recitals as a requirement for their major and/or minor in music.
