The Stetson University football program will host its inaugural Summer Classic Fundraiser Golf Tournament on Monday, July 22, at LPGA International.

The event, which will be a four-person scramble, will have a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Each player will receive a gift bag that will include items such as a Stetson Football Nike Polo, a Stetson Football Nike Hat, golf balls and more. Every tournament participant is guaranteed to receive a prize.

Following the golf tournament, Stetson football coach Roger Hughes will provide an update on the 2013 Hatters and a preview of what to expect this fall. There will also be a silent action with a number of spectacular items up for bid.

Finally, there will be a 50/50 raffle that will pay out to the top three places. Tickets for the raffle will be 20 each. If all 1,000 tickets are sold, the winners will collect $5,000 for first place, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place. In the event that all 1,000 tickets aren’t sold, the pot will be split with 25 percent going to the winner, 15 percent to second place and 10 percent to third place.

The cost to participate in the tournament is $250 per player.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the tournament. Those opportunities include:

• John B. Sponsors at $10,000: Includes four season tickets in the John B. section at Spec Martin Stadium for the 2013 season, two foursomes for golf, signage and recognition at all Summer Classic media information, signage on a hole and access to amenities on the first tee box
• Hatter Sponsors at $5,000: Includes four season tickets in the Hatter Booster section at Spec Martin Stadium for the 2013 season, two foursomes for golf, signage and recognition at all Summer Classic media information, signage on a hole and access to amenities on the first tee box
• Par 3 Sponsors at $2,500: Includes four season tickets in the Emerald section at Spec Martin Stadium for the 2013 season, one foursome for golf, signage and recognition at all Summer Classic media information, signage on a par 3 and access to amenities on the first tee box
• Golfing Corporate Sponsors at $1,500: Includes one foursome for golf and signage on a hole
• Non-golfing corporate sponsors at $500: Includes signage on a hole.
