Rucco-James Guitar Duo coming to Stetson

The Rucco-James Guitar Duo will perform at Stetson University Tuesday, Feb. 5, in Lee Chapel, 421 N. Woodland Blvd., DeLand. This concert is part of the university’s Artists and Lecturers Series, and is open to the public.

The duo of Pascuale Rucco and Douglas James specializes in the guitar literature of the early 19th Century performed on authentic instruments of the period. The duo has been performing together for over a decade, charming audiences worldwide with their interpretations of music from the first true “golden age” of the guitar. The concert will include works by Antoine de Lhoyer, Anton Diabelli, Mauro Giuliani, and Gioacchino.
