Timing
Undergraduate sessions in DeLand begin in May and end in late June. Summer School on the DeLand campus has three sessions for undergraduate courses:
- two 4-week sessions (Session 1 and Session 2)
- one 7-week session that overlaps the two shorter sessions (Session 3)
- students may take up to 2 courses (equivalent of 8 credit hours) at a time.
- maximum undergrad student course load for the entire summer is 3 courses (equivalent of 12 credit hours)
Graduate sessions in DeLand and Celebration follow similar session dates, with some variation in session dates for selected courses. These are noted on course listings.
Cost
We know financial considerations are of top concern. It's one reason summer courses are ideal for those wishing to accelerate their transition from college to the working world.
