Planning this concert, Robinson has prepared an eclectic cross cultural program featuring works from his new CD by the Argentinean composer, Quique Sinesi, the Irish guitarist/composer, Pat Coldrick, and Brazilian Marco Pereira. Robinson will also perform the Turkish influenced Koyunbaba by Carlo Domeniconi and the title cut from his new CD, Imagine by John Lennon.  The recording will be available for purchase on the night of the concert. Robinson will also perform with Jones, previewing works from their upcoming CD project. Included will be Bangerang! by Marek Pasieczny and Rememberences of Nyasvizh by Galina Gorelova for guitar and harpsichord as well as the emotionally powerful work for guitar and organ, God is Our Righteousness, by Chris DeBlasio.

Robinson is acclaimed by The New York Times for his “effortless virtuosity,” Robinson performs extensively worldwide and is an award winning recording artist. His students have excelled in the finest graduate programs of Yale, Eastman School of Music, Peabody Institute, Florida State University, and the University of Southern California, among others, and many of his students hold prominent positions in the music world. Of a recent concert, Soundboard Magazine wrote, “Anyone who has not heard Robinson play is missing one of America’s great guitarists, a performer of brilliance, elegance and lyricism.”

Jones performs extensively throughout the United States on both organ and harpsichord in addition to his duties as Stetson University Organist and John E. and Price Professor of Organ. Recent seasons have included performances for conventions of the American Guild of Organists, The Organ Historical Society, the Southeastern Historical Keyboard Society and the Music Teachers National Association.
