Art Professor Dan Gunderson to Exhibit Work in Vero Beach

Stetson University Art Professor Dan Gunderson will present the largest-ever exhibit of his work from June 17 through Sept. 3 at the Vero Beach Museum of Art.

Called “Dan Gunderson: A View from Above,” the exhibit in the museum’s largest gallery will feature more than 50 pieces, including 40 high-definition digital prints of his mandala-like arrangements of colorful super hero figurines and other toys.

The exhibit also will include other prints of his symmetrical arrangements of toys, and a new wall-mounted piece that incorporates brightly colored spiders, mice and skulls made with a 3D printer in Stetson’s duPont-Ball Library.

The exhibit will open to the public on Saturday, June 17, with a museum Members’ Reception on Friday, June 16, at 5 p.m. For admission prices and hours, visit the Vero Beach Museum of Art website. To see Gunderson’s work, visit his website.
