At Stetson University, we dare students ....
A Stetson University education helps students do all three, and more, through inspired learning, attention to values, and valuable life experiences. Our global engagement is critical to all three areas we dare our students to go. Stetson strives to be a diverse and inclusive institution, creating the knowledge and innovations that will shape our collective future, while simultaneously cultivating excellence in the next generation of scholars and leaders for the global community through high-impact learning opportunities.
Over the coming year we will undertake the institutional international strategic planning with constituents across our campuses to define our international goals and objectives in support of the University Strategic Map. Enabling faculty and students to become globally minded through increased interaction with the world at large and in myriad ways on our campuses; the international strategic map is envisioned to be an organic model daring are all members of our community to be truly global citizens. This site will be updated as we enter the strategic planning process, including notices of meetings and events open to the public.
Over time, we will begin to showcase international initiatives already undertaken by Stetson University.
What are International Initiatives?
International initiatives consist of any and all of Stetson’s endeavors outside our borders as well as those on our campuses to increase intercultural awareness. While our recruitment of international students and our study abroad programs are our most well-known projects, WORLD seeks to recognize, connect, increase, and support the other ways in which Stetson is able to internationalize our institution and gain global recognition.
