All groups must have an adult chaperone for every 10 students and must contact the university a minimum of two weeks prior to their requested appointment.
To schedule your group visit, call Amanda Thomas at 386-822-7062.
Visiting from out-of-state? Out-of-state students who are accepted and attend an official admissions visit on or before Hatter Saturday, April 8, 2017, can receive a one-time $1,000 travel scholarship awarded as a part of their financial aid package at Stetson. Eligible in-state students who are accepted and visit by Hatter Saturday may also qualify if they file a FAFSA and submit an essay of no more than 250 words on the status page by Hatter Saturday. The essay should address why the student requires a travel scholarship.
Explore Historic Downtown DeLand
Founded in 1976, DeLand has been nicknamed the Athens of Florida, a cultural center with six museums and the historic Athens Theater. Ten minutes away from beautiful natural springs makes DeLand a perfect location for spotting manatees, soaking up Florida rays, or enjoying homemade pancakes at The Old Spanish Sugar Mill and Griddle House. DeLand hosts a variety of events throughout the calendar year. We encourage you to see what’s happening downtown before or after your visit to campus
Not sure where to start? Ask your Ambassador tour guide about their favorite DeLand spot.
