| Recognizing the importance of a healthy body and mind, Stetson University renewed its commitment to health and wellness by making it the seventh Values Council. The Council strives to promote wellness to students, staff and faculty through a variety of outreach and educational efforts. Dr. Michele Skelton, chair of the Integrative Health Science Department, is the Lynn and Mark Hollis Chair of Health and Wellness at Stetson University. Stetson's Hatter Tracks opens

Stetson University's Health and Wellness Council, Department of Integrative Health Science and Hollis Center for recreation and fitness recently opened Hatter Tracks, a new 1.3-mile walking trail on campus. Dozens of students, faculty and staff joined with Stetson alumnus and EmeritusMark Hollis for the official send-off and first walk on the trail Oct. 22. "The purpose of Hatter Tracks is to extend the mission of the Hollis Center - to take fitness outdoors," said Dr. Michele Skelton, the faculty member who chairs for the Health and Wellness Council.
