G, Be a Diverse Community of Inclusive Excellence:
University Climate Survey
The University faculty participated in the University's Climate Survey, which examined the climate with respect to the perceptions of faculty, students and staff on such issues as gender, interracial interactions and interpersonal conflicts among these groups. The faculty attended numerous focus sessions and have examined the results as specifically related to faculty.
The Senate reviewed a number of issues and will focus on climate-related issues raised in the report, with particular attention given to the following issues, namely:
Title IX concerns.
Micro-aggressions in class and around the campus.
Classism and inequitable treatment between senior and junior faculty and staff. Student involvement in conceptualizing, developing, criticizing and implementing curricula at Stetson.
