Loyal Pyczynski '02
Principal Marketing & Business Strategy Manager, Rockwell Collins
Pyczynski, a family man working his way up in the corporate world at Rockwell Collins, was born without his left hand. Growing up, he made it his personal philosophy that anything is possible. In high school, he discovered that sports helped him escape the taunting of some of his classmates. He is now a two-time Ironman Triathlon finisher and is training for the 2016 Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Pyczynski had an eye-opening experience a few years ago when he was invited to participate in Hand Camp, sponsored by the Hands to Love, an organization dedicated to serving children with upper limb differences. Loyal experienced the impact his presence had on children and found a greater purpose as a role model to hundreds of them. He now serves as chair of the Board of Directors of Hands to Love.
