American Psychological Association [www.apa.org/ed/slce/home.html] This site, hosted by the APA, is intended to introduce faculty, teachers, students, researchers, clinicians, and community partners to the connections between psychological work, the pedagogy of service-learning, and issues of civic engagement. Most importantly, this site provides contact information for service-learning leaders in the field. Community-Campus Partnerships for Health [depts.washing.edu/ccph/servicelearningres.html] The CCPH makes it a goal to provide educators with a comprehensive list of tools and resources for service-learning, including PowerPoint presentations, sample syllabi, and electronic discussion groups. Council of Independent Colleges [www.cic.edu] CIC is a national organization that provides campus leaders with opportunities such as seminars, workshops, and programs in order to improve educational programs, administrative and financial performance, and institutional visibility. Do Something.org [dosomething.org] This site contains examples of service projects, as well as grant and scholarship opportunities. This site is a valuable resource, putting forth training materials, sample syllabi, steps for service-learning course construction, and funding. Students will also find this a useful site for ideas on service-learning work study and scholarships. Educators for Community Engagement [www.e4ce.org] ECE is the only national organization committed to democratizing classrooms and communities through service learning circles, service-learning, and critical dialogue. This website offers educators a recommended reading list, online links, and information on national gatherings. ERIC Clearinghouse on Higher Education [www.eriche.org] ERIC offers information in a database style on education. It also produces publications on specific topics in higher education including service learning. International Partnership for Service Learning [www.ipsl.org] The IPSL initiates, designs, and administers off-campus programs combining service and academic study open to all qualified students and recent graduates. Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Partnership Foundation [www.jrcpf.org] The foundation recognizes the best practices in campus-community partnership programs and innovative ideas for student-led service learning projects to address the needs of the community. Awards are given to the best campus-community partnership programs, and grants are given for social entrepreneurship linked to student's academic discipline. National Service-Learning Clearinghouse [www.servicelearning.org] The National Service-Learing Clearinghouse assists educators and community agencies in developing and expanding service opportunities for all youth. National Youth Leadership Council [www.nylc.org] NYLC works to integrate service-learning practices into all levels of education. The NYLC has a variety of service and products including training, clearinghouse service, materials and curriculum, technical assistance and program development.
