This unique outdoor adventure combines all the treasures of the Space Coast into one exciting program. No trip to Cocoa Beach would be complete without a day at the Kennedy Space Center where you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with all aspects of this American Iconic location including lunch with an Astronaut. You thought the Space Shuttle was an exciting ride but now get ready for some of Florida’s original attractions and rides. We will start you off on an Airboat ride where you will be in constant communication with the captain as he powers through the back waters of the St. Johns River and Cypress Forrest. Step further off the beaten path as you travel through a swamp to learn of its natural inhabitants and Native American artifacts. After launching through two days of high speed adventure, we will slow it down as you take a beginners guided Kayak trip in areas known for Manatees and Dolphins. A visit to the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge will allow bird enthusiast the opportunity to test their skills naming a variety of Migrating birds. With the help of the local Audubon Society we will have experts to help everyone identify many species of birds while enjoying the scenic beauty of the Space Coast. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy local eating establishments and area folk songs right downtown Cocoa Beach. So bring your sunscreen, hats, cameras, binoculars and a great adventurous attitude.
