Road Scholar is the recognized leader in educational travel programs for lifelong learning. The organization offers programs throughout the world. Stetson University and Road Scholar have partnered to offer an average of 80 programs for lifelong learners in the Central Florida area each year.

Our location in Central Florida allows us to offer programs catering to the unique and extraordinary nature of Central Florida - you can touch a moon rock, go behind the scenes at the Walt Disney World Resort, get up close and personal with an alligator, experience the energy of Major League Baseball's spring training, or take a step back in time as you explore the vast history of America's oldest city. Our programs are about more than travel, and more than education. Road Scholar brings education, experts and travel together to create the experience of a lifetime.

Intergenerational Programs

Road Scholar's intergenerational programs are designed for adults to participate in a rich, immersive learning experience with their favorite young friends. Not only that, but the programs allow grandparents an extremely special opportunity to get to know their grandchildren better and for participants to together experience the spirit of Road Scholar: "sharing new ideas, challenges, and experiences."

Host a Program

If you are interested in hosting a Road Scholar program, please contact the Office of Continuing Education using the Road Scholar Host Form. Since there is such a high level of interest in hosting our programs, using this form will allow the staff to assign hosts on an objective, first-come-first-served basis.
