The Board of Trustees of Stetson University invites nominations and expressions of interest from potential candidates for the position of university president. The board seeks a president who possesses strong visionary leadership and the ability to manage an ambitious, vibrant institution committed to academic excellence and the integration of core values into the teaching-learning process.
Trustees are proud of the many accomplishments that the Stetson community has achieved under the leadership and service of Dr. H. Douglas Lee, Stetson’s eighth president, who will retire in May 2009 after more than 20 years of exceptional leadership. The trustees look forward to a future that builds on those accomplishments.
The choice of a new president for Stetson University is one of the most important functions charged to the Board of Trustees by its charter and by-laws.
