THE HONORABLE JIM DAVIS
Jim Davis, a former State Representative (1988-1996, Majority Leader 1995-1996) and Congressman (1997-2007) representing areas in and around Tampa, was the Democratic party’s nominee for Governor of Florida in 2006 where he faced-off against then-Republican Charlie Crist. Jim is currently a member and Partner of Holland and Knight’s Public Policy and Regulation Group, and holds many memberships in the community including serving as the Vice President of the Stetson University Parents Association.
ROB FIELD
Rob Field is a political consultant and co-founder and partner at DemCAMP, a company that provides services for candidates and political organizations. He has done extensive work on many campaigns, serving as a volunteer, organizer, campaign manager, director and/or chair of many congressional, state legislature and gubernatorial campaigns.
JUSTIN SNYDER
Justin Snyder began his political career at the College Democrats President at Stetson University, then interned for Obama For America and later Organizing for America in Volusia County. Since that time, Justin has worked on several political campaigns all over the country, including races in Nevada, Arkansas and most recently Florida, where he was District Director for CREDO SuperPac’s Take Down Allen West Campaign and Field Director and Deputy Campaign Manager for Jeff Clemens For Florida Senate Campaign which resulted in a 17 vote victory. He writes at the intersection of politics, economics, and democracy, and currently manages and consults on campaigns in South Florida.
FRANK TORRES
Political analyst Frank Torres is an eight-year United States Army Veteran and former state licensed Private Investigator who is currently the owner of Frank Torres Strategies, a political consulting firm. His political analysis has been featured in the Boston Herald, CBS News, and the Orlando Sentinel. He's worked as an on-air analyst for FOX 35 in Orlando, and more recently Central Florida News 13 for the 2012 election cycle.
LISA WALKER
Lisa Walker is a political organizer and consultant, and the managing partner of DemCAMP, a company that provides services for candidates and political organizations. She has worked on campaigns from city commission races to congressional and U.S. Senate campaigns and with political organizations such as Democratic clubs, County DEC’s, and civic movements since 2006.
KEVIN WINCHELL
Kevin Winchell, when not working as the Assistant Director of Community Engagement at Stetson University, is a professional political consultant with Harrison and Associates who specializes in using data to microtarget voters and donors for municipal and county races in Central Florida. He is the founder and director of the Politics 101 Conference at Stetson University, and currently serves as the Treasurer of the Volusia County Democratic Executive Committee. He has been involved in political campaigns since 2004, when he canvassed for EMILY’s List in West Palm Beach.
