Payroll Services - Students

The Student Payroll office is located in the finance office in Elizabeth Hall room 110. Its hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The main contact person is Karen Alexander, kalexand@stetson.edu.

How do I start working?

All federal and university work-study students are hired by the Office of Financial Aid, located at the Stetson One Stop in Griffith Hall. All students are required to complete an I-9 and W-4 form. Proper identification (e.g., driver license, social security card, birth certificate, passport, etc.) is required.

Once your paperwork has been approved and you have met all of the requirements through the Office of Financial Aid, the student payroll manager will mail your timecard to your supervisor.

Timecards

Timecards need to be completed neatly, signed by your supervisor and returned to the student payroll office no later than the fifth of the month in order for your to receive your paycheck; if we can't read your timecard we won't be able to pay you. If you miss the deadline there are no guarantees that you will get paid that month and will instead be paid the following month.

Getting Paid

When will I get paid?

All student employees are paid monthly, on the fifteenth. If this date falls on a weekend, you will be paid on the preceding Friday.

Where will my paycheck be sent?

If you haven't set up a direct deposit, your paycheck will be placed in your campus mailbox on pay day.
