Study Abroad - Semester Experience
Like many quality universities, Stetson strongly encourages each student to pursue opportunities to study abroad, as part of a well-rounded education. Stetson is different from most schools, though. Each semester, Stetson sends a substantial number of students to study abroad at no extra expense. Many Stetson students who apply to Study Abroad are given airfare, accomodations, and meals at one of Stetson's partnering institutions, as they study for a semester. The cost is the same as studying at Stetson's main campus in DeLand. But the real value is the international experience in a quality educational environment.
Stetson's brief study abroad programs are no less exciting, such as the one that allows students to earn a business minor by studying in Innsbruck. Students selecting the shorter programs may choose to explore Africana studies from a cruise ship in the Caribbean, visit ancient and medieval sites in Britain, participate in mentored field experiences in the arts in Brazil, study Andean culture in Peru or choose from many other programs.
Stetson University partners with universities in many parts of the world. Selected Stetson students can study abroad for an entire semester, gaining experiences, language skills and lifelong friendships, along with a quality education.
